Welcome to the PDX is Cinematic Project.
I am Adam Blank, a photographer based out of Portland, Oregon and my goal is to show you snapshots of Portland, Oregon in the Cinematic Style of Photography.
What does this mean?
cin·e·mat·ic | \ ˌsi-nə-ˈma-tik - : of, relating to, suggestive of, or suitable for motion pictures or the filming of motion pictures. - In other words taking pictures that look like they could have come from movies.
I believe that everyone is the main character of their own movie with complex narratives, storylines, climaxes and low points. I help the city of Portland and its residents appear more cinematic.
I am tired of Portland, Oregon being portrayed in a negative way in media of all kinds. What if we as a community could show the world all the good things about Portland? Talking about the issues won’t solve them, so through my photography I plan to show Portland, Oregon in a more positive light while donating 10% of my projects profits to local Charites. PDX IS CINEMATIC Roadmap:
Photograph the city of Portland, Oregon by going shooting as much as possible while working on steps 2 and 3. Send me a message on Instagram if you would like to get in touch.
Add value to residents and photographers in Portland, and across the county via services, guides, links, etc.
Develop and market a Portland, Oregon specific Non Fungible Token collection with special benefits and utilities for holders. Then grow the collection and create value for holders.
